Boxing Picks Preview: In the main event, WBA world-rated contender Timur Ibragimov (28-2-1) will face former two-time Olympian Gurcharan Singh (20-0) for the NABA heavyweight title. Ibragimov recently scored a dominant victory over former world heavyweight champion Oliver McCall. In the co-feature, Brad "The King" Solomon (12-0) - touted by Teddy Atlas as a leading professional prospect – will square off against Wilfredo “Papin” Negron (26-14) for the WBA International and WBC Latino welterweight titles. Solomon, who is coming off a sensational win on “ESPN Friday Night Fights,” will showcase his talent for South Florida boxing fans.
 
In another interesting bout Cuban national Luis Ortiz (2-0) will step up and face Kendrick Releford (23-12) WBC Fecarbox Heavyweight title. The bout is scheduled for eight rounds. Ortiz won the gold medal at the 2005 World Championships as an amateur. Prior to his arrival in the United States, Oritz was regarded as Cuba’s best heavyweight. As an amateur, Ortiz accumulated a record of 343-19 and many regarded him as the heir to the legacy of Cuban boxing greatness previously established by Teofilo Stevenson and Felix Savon.
