Some critics had been wondering if #1 overall draft pick Matthew Stafford is the real deal after completing less than half of his passes in his first two games and throwing 5 interceptions.  While #2 overall pick Jets QB Mark Sanchez has been touted as the second coming of Joe Namath, many have wondered if Stafford was the second coming of Ryan Leaf. While Stafford has one of the strongest arms in the NFL and some nice mobility, he doesn’t appear to be much of a leader. Accuracy is a far more important quality for an NFL quarterback to possess and Stafford’s accuracy is only average.  Expect for Stafford to have some moments were he makes some jaw dropping throws but also an equal amount of passes that make you wonder why he was so highly touted. While we don’t think Stafford will be a complete bust like psycho Ryan Leaf was, Matthew Stafford will probably never be the All-Pro many thought he would be.
