TCU Horned Frogs 2010 College Football Predictions - 2011 BCS Odds:  The TCU Horned Frogs are ready to make a run at the 2010 BCS Championship after exploding on the BCS scene with a #4 ranking. The roster is stacked from top to bottom with blue-chip talent. The major obstacle standing in TCU’s way on their soft schedule is a season opener against Oregon State where TCU is favored at -13 on the spread. We are just as high on TCU as we are on Boise State and TCU is listed at much more generous BCS Championship Odds despite a softer schedule. College Football Predictions Offense: The offense is projected to be one of the best in the country. Heisman Trophy darkhorse QB Andy Dalton is a dual threat with a full cupboard of burners at his disposal. Dalton is smart with playmaking ability and guts. The O-line is formidable with two potential All-Americans. The running game has big-play potential with possible All-MWC RB Mathew Tucker. Tucker is spelled by excellent backup 5’9” 185 Lb. RB Ed Wesley who is a dynamic dual threat with nice burst. This offense projects to rank in the top-5. The 2010 TCU Horned Frogs Season Win Total is at 11.0 Wins with the UNDER at -115.

College Football Predictions Defense: The 6th ranked  defense from a year ago could be down a notch after losing impact players in the front seven in DE Jerry Hughes and LB Daryl Washington. Hughes and Washington left to the NFL but the front-seven could have some more NFL Sunday candidates filling roles. The secondary is a fine unit but remains the biggest question mark after losing two 1st team MWC CB’s. The Horned Frogs pass-defense is always tough and should be plenty stingy once again. This defense projects to rank just outside the top-10.

Coaching/Special Teams: 10th year Texas Christian head coach Gary Patterson is a 3-time conference coach of the year and owns the best MWC staff. The special teams unit is bubbling with specialty demons, big legs and explosive returners.
