Hawai’I Warriors 2010 College Football Predictions - 2011 BCS Odds: The Hawai’I college football program will try to get back to another bowl game after having a successful run of eight straight bowl appearances broken in last year’s 6-7 season. An injury marred 09’ campaign should be supplanted by a young team that will be able to climb back into the postseason fray. Our college football picks staff is forecasting a 7-6 season and return to postseason against a weak schedule.

College Football Predictions Offense: The passing game should again be one of the best in the nation. The explosive run and shoot offense will score more than last season‘s 22.8 PPG.. A gifted set of wideouts will create mismatches against WAC defenders. QB Bryant Moniz is an undersized signal caller with a big-arm and good poise. The running game and O-line however are major question marks. The O-line is very inexperienced but is unlikely to get bogged down too much against soft WAC defensive fronts.

College Football Predictions Defense: The Warriors defense is undersized and thin on the front seven but they are a little more experienced. Hawai’I creates turnovers off gambles and possess some good players in the secondary. Last year the defense ranked 90th in scoring and they should be much better against the pass this season.

Coaching/Special Teams: Head coach has Greg McMackin has been coach of the year twice but this team will have a new D-coordinator. The Special teams should be slightly better but still are poor.
