The Sun Devils return only 9 starters and face a challenging schedule but a stifling defense will make them a tough team to beat. College Football Predictions Offense: The offense will undergo some changes that will have the team go to a more convention offense after two terrible seasons in the spread. While the QB position is unsettled candidates Steven Threet and Brock Osweiler have some nice upside. The O-line has been decimated by injuries but should be adequate with some good JUCO transfers added. The skill positions are modest but the current crop receivers have some playmaking ability. College Football Predictions Defense: This is one of the best defenses in the Pac-10 with impact playmakers at all three levels. The D-line is nasty with future NFL baller in DT Lawrence Guy leading the charge. The linebackers are green but MLB Vontaze Burfict is a young stud that leads a solid group. The secondary appears to be the only weak link with only one difference maker in CB Omar Bolden.

Coaching/Special Teams: Dennis Erickson is a decent head coach and he made a good decision to bring a new O-coordinator to shore things up. Special teams are above-average with a very-good leg in P Trevor Hankins.
