Dallas Cowboys 2009 NFL Predictions, Win Total & 2010 Super Bowl Odds: Weirdness abound once again for the 2009 Dallas Cowboys as they enter the season T.O-less with a new $1.1 billion stadium. Head Coach Wade Phillips is on a coaching seat hot as a skillet and has already been given a media gag order by control freak owner Jerry Jones. QB Tony Romo still has girlfriend Jessica Simpson in his bedsheets and still has not learned how to play well in crucial games. An underachieving offense that ranked 18th in points scored from a year ago will be minus Terrell Owens this season. Tony Romo is smart, mobile and accurate but he still has not shown he can win in the Dallas pressure cooker late in the season. The Dallas Cowboys 3-4 defense will be piloted by head coach this season after the firing of Phillips friend Brian Stewart in the off-season. Phillips is known as a defensive guru that likes to use an attacking style to get the job done and will be depended on to provide marked improvement to a team that ranked 20th in points allowed. The Dallas defense was a sack machine last season with monster  OLB DeMarcus Ware recording 20.0 sacks. The Cowboys lost DE Chris Canty in the off-season which could effect the pass-rushing potency somewhat. The loss of Canty could be a problem because Dallas relies on their pass-rush to cover  for their weak secondary. Special Teams has some excellent specialist and should be a team strength this season.

Dallas started strong but faded late last season. This year Dallas has some more depth at key positions but are less talented overall. With the Giants and Eagles likely front-runners the Cowboys are slated for a 3rd place finish in NFC Beast.
