Brock Lesnar is an athletic “freak” that could dominate the UFC heavyweight ranks for some time. Since the first fight with Mir, Lesnar has shown vast improvement in his overall MMA fighting ability. Lesnar was careless in the first bout when he got caught out of position by Mir on the ground. Lesnar had very little jiu-jitsu training going into the first fight and Mir took advantage. Now with a few years of jiu-jitsu under his belt, Lesnar should have a much easier night against Mir. Lesnar had an incredible 106-5 record as an NCAA wrestler and he can bench-press over 550 Lbs. Along with his blue-chip wrestling ability, Lesnar has an extraordinarily long reach, fast hands and one-punch KO power with his right hand.  Lesnar also has much better conditioning than Mir who loses effectiveness after just 1 round.

Mir is a tough veteran but Lesnar will outclass him in the rematch. Lesnar was destroying Mir in the first fight before making a careless mistake. Don’t expect Lesnar to make the same mistake twice as he dominates en route to a stoppage win.
