Super-Middleweight #7 ranked contender Allan Green has been selected to replace Jermain Taylor in the Super Six World Boxing Classic tournament being televised on Showtime. Taylor was removed from the tournament due to concern over his health after being brutally knocked out by Arthur Abraham in the first round of the tournament. Green’s, 29-1 20 KO’s, first bout of the Super Six World Boxing Classic will be against W.B.A champion Andre Ward, 20-0, 13 KO’s on April 24th.

Unfortunately for Green hs is facing an emerging superstar in Olympic gold-medalist Andre Ward who is on the brink of cracking boxing’s pound-4-pound rankings.
