After a devastating Game 4 for the Orlando Magic, and those of us who had NBA Finals Picks for them to win that night, we can only state one thing, the Lakers want to win the 2009 NBA Finals. Game 5 of the NBA Finals promises nothing less then another shocker but after the way Orlando handled the end of the last game, the shock might be Los Angeles Lakers winning the NBA Title on the road.
 

Amway Arena, the Orlando Magic’s home, will once more be the setting for Sunday night. Tip off is set for 8 pm and after checking with BetUS Sportsbook to find the line, it was funny to find the Los Angeles Lakers as the 3½ point road dog with a game total of 198½.
 
Good luck with what it is you might be thinking but after watching the Orlando Magic lose its touch on Thursday evening, it is hard not to want the road dog plus points. Kobe Bryant wants it so bad he can taste it and the Zen Master could be running out of time in basketball land. It might be his turn to retire of move on. Both want one thing for certain, that is the NBA Title without Shaquille O’Neal.
 
Kobe does have the stuff. He sets an amazing pace and gets players into the game for the sake of winning. This was proven the other night when Lakers veteran Derek Fisher, on his second tour with Los Angeles, drained two long balls, one with 4.6 in regulation to stun the Magic and take the game to overtime and another with more time left for reaction but a magic less Orlando had no response to his attack.
 
Los Angeles cast and crew will eventually win the title since there is really no chance for the Orlando Magic and big man Dwight Howard to make a 3 game come back. My money will definitely be on Kobe and company and the generous 3½ points they are getting at BetUS. The total seems like anyone’s guess, mine is Total under 198½. Enjoy the game
