NBA Picks: Lakers vs Magic Game 4 NBA Finals 2009

Kobe Bryant Slam

The series heats up in Orlando, Florida for Game 4 of the NBA Picks Finals! Amway Arena became the hottest spot in the world for Game 3 when the shooting offense of the Orlando Magic caught fire for a 2009 NBA Finals offensive shooting record of 62.5 percent. Rafer Alston who led the command on the air strike was a different man from the one that shared minutes with Jameer Nelson for the first two games.

The Orlando Magic roll in as a -2½ point home team favorite at BetUS SportsBook with a 201½ total. Good luck making your NBA Picks for tonight’s game at 9:00 PM EST on ABC and always find the best NBA odds and great cash bonuses at BetUS.com.

Nelson was activated for this Finals series and remains without a shadow of a doubt the player that Orlando Magic Coach Stan Van Gundy should not play as much. It is a great thing that Jameer has rehabilitated his shoulder after a surgery this season yet it is a bad thing to have him play without rhythm and much to the bewilderment of Rafer Alston who was obviously affected by this during Games 1 and 2 at the Staple Center after a stunning series against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Thursday night the Magic will try and tie the series to two games a piece when they should be 2 and 1 their lead. Had the Orlando Magic not started Nelson and thrown off Alston in the process things would most likely be this way. It is yet to be determined if Alston will lead the pack once again but he sure did help in getting the series back to a winner takes all no team gives up so easy, let’s get it on!... playing field, which in the end is great. No Finals are good with a sweep! So the more the merrier!

The Los Angeles Lakers also have the ability to take a game from Orlando at home and it is simply a matter of controlling the aerial attack while not letting up so much room for the Magic’s star Dwight Howard in the paint.

Even as convincing as it is that the Los Angeles Lakers with Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol could win a game in Orlando, my humble opinion is it will not happen until Sunday night. Maybe then the L.A. Lakers will get it together and win a game on the road. This time I like the favorite Orlando Magic to cover 2½ Thursday evening and suggest you buy the push if possible. Make it 2 and you could see a tight push at the end, maybe a blow out but I like the Magic at home with the total over 201½. Its time for both teams to score more and deliver some more Game 3 type action, don’t you think?
