Expect the Sooners to return to the top-10 in scoring offense after ranking 29th in scoring last season. At all three levels the Sooners have difference makers. A defense ranked 7th in points allowed a year ago could be even better this season. Despite some injury concerens upfront the run defense should be outstanding with All-American in LB Travis Lewis flying sideline-to-sideline. The pass-defense should be equally effective with one of the best secondary’s in the nation a pass-rushing force in All-American DE Jeremy Beal.
