Lineup: Toronto lacks serious thump in the middle of the order with their best hitters Vernon Wells and Lyle Overbay underachieving. Aaron Hill is now being counted on to supply the power and after a 36 HR campaign in 2009 he appears to be more than capable. Another possible big stick is stocky lefty Travis Snider. This team is solid defensively but overall this an average MLB lineup.

Pitching: The Blue Jays have some good young arms but they are going to get roughed up a little until they gain more experience. Lefthander Ricky Romero is the staff ace and he has the potential to be one of the MLB’s best starters. The bullpen has plenty of upside with a nice young closer in Jason Fraser but like the rotation they are also unproven.
