2010 Baseball Predictions - Baltimore Orioles AL East: Slowly but surely the Baltimore Orioles are making headway and this year they will try to snap an embarrassing streak of 12 straight losing seasons with a young team full of upside. The task will not be easy playing the treacherous waters of the AL East division but the young talent gives them a shot at surprising the MLB world.
 

Offense: The Orioles can score runs with a slew  of studs in Adam Jones, Brian Roberts, Luke Scott, Nolan Reimold and Nick Markakis. The O’s have a nice blend of speed and power and their offense should be among the top offensive units in the AL. Pitching: Solid veteran Kevin Millwood was brought in after a stellar year in Texas to be the staff ace and mentor the younger pitchers. Bench/Coaching: The jury is still out on Orioles head coach Dave Trembley who has a good rapport with the players but he will be judged on how he develops the young talent this season. The bench has some pop but overall it is ordinary.
