There were a few co-favorites that contested and one horse in specific eventually overcame what everyone expected to happen. Quality Road came in as a threat to win the Breeders’ Cup over the heavily favored Zenyatta. Quality Road is trained by Todd Pletcher who is the best trainer in the world.  He was coming off a brilliant win last time out in the Donn Handicap where he won by more than 12 lengths. Pletcher said if the race was longer the horse would have won by 25 lengths. Quality Road has won four of his five starts this year with the one loss to Blame (5/1), who lived up to his morning line odds, in the Whitney Handicap by just a neck and solidified his resume with a huge win over a mare that was almost awarded the cup before the race even took place. The Horse Racing lines at Bodog had Quality Road (7\1) as one of the Free Breeders’ Cup Predictions favorites to challenge Zenyatta near the top, but ended up not factoring in the 2010 Breeders Cup Results.
