The Vancouver Canucks have a chance to close out the series against the Boston Bruins and become the Stanley Cup picks champions, but they have yet to win a game at Boston in this series. The All-Star net-minder has stopped 774 shots in the playoffs, which is second most in playoff history and the Bruins will need him to play like he did in the first two games in Boston if they are to stave off elimination and push this series back to Vancouver for game 7. The NHL lines at Bodog.com have the Bruins listed as a -145 odds favorite to win game 6, and since every team has been won by the home team, I’m taking Boston to push this thing to the limit.

For Vancouver, Roberto Luongo was roundly questioned and critiqued following a pair of brutal efforts in Games 3 and 4 of the series. The Vezina Trophy finalist rebounded in style by turning aside all 31 shots he faced in a 1-0 victory in Game 5 on Friday night. The Bruins have won their two games based on physicality, so the same game plan will be in effect on Monday night.
