Iowa Hawkeyes 2010 College Football Predictions:  The Iowa Hawkeyes have won 20 games over the past two seasons under head coach Kirk Ferentz. This includes an 11–2 mark last season and the program’s first ever BCS bowl victory, a 24–14 win over Georgia Tech in the Orange Bowl, in sunny South Florida. With 14 starters back, Iowa is looking for more of the same. One important note that will solidify this team's 2010 NCAA Betting Odds is the fact that Iowa State, Penn State, Wisconsin, Michigan State and Ohio State all must face Iowa in huge Conference games at Kinnick Stadium, where the Hawkeyes have won 44 of their last 53 games. College Football Predictions Offense: Ricky  Stanzi has started 11 games in each of the past two seasons, and Iowa has gone 18–4 in those games. He passed for 2,417 yards and 17 touchdowns but he also threw 15 interceptions last season, four of which were returned for touchdowns. Jewel Hampton was expected to replace Shonn Greene as the feature running back , but Hampton suffered a season-ending knee injury over the summer, which ultimately forced freshmen Adam Robinson and Brandon Wegher to step, and they did. They combined to rush for 1,475 yards and 13 touchdowns. Senior Derrell Johnson-Koulianos and junior Marvin McNutt give Iowa one of the more productive receiver combinations in the Big Ten. Johnson-Koulianos led the team with 750 receiving yards last season and McNutt, who started five games and turned eight of his 34 receptions into touchdowns, including the game-winner against Michigan State. Bodog Sportsbook has the Iowa Hawkeyes' 2011 BCS National Championship Odds at +2000.

College Football Predictions Defense:
Senior Jeremiha Hunter is the only returning starting linebacker following the loss of Pat Angerer and A.J. Edds, who combined to make 484 career tackles in 63 starts. Senior Jeff Tarpinian is expected to replace Angerer in the middle, and junior Tyler Nielsen has the inside track on Edds’ position. All-Big Ten cornerback Amari Spievey skipped his senior season to enter the draft, but everybody else is back. Rebuilding the offensive line will be Iowa’s biggest concern. The Iowa Hawkeyes' 2010 NCAA Betting Odds win total is at 8.5, with the Over at (-210).
