NFL 2010 Predictions - NFC East Betting Odds: This division will be one of the most different looking divisions in all of football. They will also be one of the most competitive divisions. With Donovan Mcnabb and Brian Westbrook switching over from the Eagles to the Redskins, Jason Campbell now out of Washington, The Eagles with Kevin Kolb and Michael Vick. The one team that will resemble 2009's edition the most, is the odds on favorite to win the division, the Dallas Cowboys. Last season the Dallas Cowboys won the NFC East with an 11-5 record. The 11-5 Philadelphia Eagles earned a playoff spot, while the New York Giants (8-8) and Washington Redskins (4-12) watched the playoffs from the comfort of their own homes. The Eagles lost to the Cowboys in the Wild-Card Weekend game 34-14. Followed by the Minnesota Vikings quickly ending the Cowboys season in the Divisional Playoff game 34-3. The Dallas Cowboys' NFL 2010 predictions have the Indianapolis Colts as a strong favorite in the NFC East Betting Odds.

The Cowboys had a great year in 2009 by putting the memories of past season collapses behind them with a winning December, an NFC East Title, and a victory over Philadelphia in the playoffs. The bar has been raised even higher for 2010. Nothing short of a Super Bowl appearance is expected and will be accepted by the team’s owner Jerry Jones and the players themselves. After a strong 5-0 start to the 2009 season things unraveled quickly for the New York Giants. They went on to lose eight of their next 11 games and missed the playoffs after winning the Super Bowl just two seasons earlier. Much of the success of the Giants will be determined by how quickly they can come back together as team to regain the form that made them so good in the past. The one problem may be that Coughlin’s hard nose act is starting to wear thin with the players.

For the first time in 11 years head coach Andy Reid will have not have Donovan McNabb as his starting quarterback heading into the start of the season. With McNabb traded to Washington this offseason, Reid will turn to four year veteran Kevin Kolb. With all the changes on this team, the Eagles could either run away with the East or fall off the map.Reid is still one of the top coaches in the league and there is enough talent on this team to win on a consistent basis. Philadelphia’s loss is Washington’s gain and with the addition of Donovan McNabb, for the first time in a while, they have a true franchise type quarterback. The Redskins are counting on him still having enough left in the tank to turn this team around and that is exactly what McNabb expects from himself. The Redskins are still missing a few key pieces in order to make a serious run at the division title but they will be much better than their four win total in 2009.
