Belmont Stakes Picks: Calvin Borel, winning jockey in the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes, but on different horses, returns to his Derby mount Mine That Bird for the Belmont Stakes Saturday June 6 and he's predicting another win. Mine That Bird is installed as 5-to-6 favorite to win the Belmont Stakes by oddsmakers at Bodog sports and horse book.

"We're gonna win, no questions asked," Borel predicted Monday at Churchill Downs following Mind That Birds workout where he covered  a half-mile in 50 seconds.

"He worked in :50 and out in 1:02, just like before the Derby. He is doing everything the same," Borel said.

Borel would have jockeyed Preakness Stakes winner Rachel Alexandra if the filly had entered the Belmont Stakes. Rachel Alexandra's owner Jess Jackson said they were looking out for her future and passed on Belmont.

With Borel returning to jockey Mine That Bird, he has a chance to win all three legs of the Triple Crown on two different horses, something never been equaled by any rider. Borel had previously won the Kentucky Derby once and that was on Street Sense in 2007.

"We just gotta get lucky," said Borel. "Me and the horse fit good."

Mine That Bird is listed on the Bodog horsebook betting board as a 5-to-6 favorite. The gelding has come a long way in the minds of oddsmakers since winning the Kentucky Derby as a 50-to-1 longshot. The gelding came in second to Rachel Alexandra in the Preakness Stakes where he was one of the favorites at 6-to-1 odds.
