Lakers vs. Magic Game 3 NBA Finals Odds: Orlando is in must-win mode as it hosts its first NBA Finals game in 14 years Tuesday night when they go at it with the Los Angeles Lakers  in Game 3. The Lakers may be up 2-0 in this series, but the Magic could have come home tied at a game apiece had guard Courtney Lee's last-second alley-oop in Game 2 fallen in, rather than hit hard off the board and fallen off the rim. Los Angeles then proceeded to make the big plays in overtime in winning Game 2 by a score of 101-96. This after LA pounded Orlando 100-75 in Game 1.

Thursday morning, the NBA Picks betting board at Sportsbook.com listed the Magic as 4.5-chalk favorites with a 198 total. The Magic are -190 favorites on the Sportsbook moneyline while Lakers backers are getting +165 moneyline odds.

Both Games 1 and 2 of this series played under their totals, which were 205.5 for Game 1 and 202 for Game 2, so bookmakers have adjusted that number further down for Game 3.

Los Angeles opened this series by easily covering the 6.5 points they were favored by on the Sportsbook.com NBA betting line. But despite coming close, leading by six in the final minute of overtime, they could not cover the same 6.5 points in Game 2.

So far this postseason, the Lakers are 4-4 both straight up and against the pointspreads on the road, while the Magic are 7-2 SU and 6-3 ATS at home.

Also, the over/unders are a lopsided 6-14 in Los Angeles playoff games this spring, which have averaged 198 points, while the totals are 9-12 in Orlando playoff games, which have averaged 191 points.

Together, the Lakers and Magic are shooting just 41 per cent from the field in this Finals series.

Orlando swept the two-game series with the Lakers during the regular season this year, winning 106-103 at home in December and 109-103 in Los Angeles in January. So in the four games these two teams have played this season, the Magic are 3-1 against the pointspread.

Prior to the start of this series, Sportsbook was listing Los Angeles at right around -260 to win the Finals, with Orlando getting around +220. After L.A.'s Game 1 victory, Sportsbook moved the Lakers to -500 and the Magic to +375. And as of Tuesday morning, with Los Angeles up two games to none, Sportsbook is listing the Lakers at -800 to win this series, the Magic at +500.
