Lakers at Magic 2009 NBA Finals odds: Now that Los Angeles has taken  a 2-games lead over Orlando in the best of  seven games championship format in the 2009 NBA Playoffs finals, online oddsmakers at Sportsbook.com have adjusted their Lakers at Magic 2009 NBA Finals odds prices. Sportsbook now lists the Lakers as -800 favorites on its moneyline board to win the NBA Championship while Magic backers are getting +500 moneyline odds. For novice gamblers who need an explanation; to win $100 betting the Lakers it would  require an $800 wager.

This wager does have value in that Los Angeles only needs two more wins to take the championship. With the possibility of three more games to be played at Staples Center in Los Angeles, the odds are very high LA wins two of those. This scenario would happen only if the series is extended to seven games.

For the Magic, down two games, the odds of them winning the series are slim. Orlando is looking at having to win four of five games against the Lakers. Fortunately, Orlando gets LA on home court for games three and four. If the Lakers win one of the two games in Orlando, gamblers can almost be guaranteed NBA Championship series prices would be taken down from the Sportsbook.com betting board.

Sportsbook.com is currently listing the Magic as 4-chalk favorites over the Lakers for game-3 on Tuesday with a 198 total. Oddsmakers have installed Orlando as -190 favorites on the Sportsbook moneyline while LA backers are getting +165 moneyline odds.
