College World Series 2009: The LSU Tigers are one win away from their sixth NCAA men's baseball national championship and will achieve that goal with a win over the Texas Longhorns in game-2 of the 2009 College World Series championship round Tuesday night. If Texas can pick up a win versus the Tigers in this game, then a final championship deciding game will be played on Wednesday. Texas is seeking its seventh CWS championship. First pitch is set for 7 p.m. ET in this ESPN televised game.

Oddsmakers at BetUS.com lists LSU as -155 money-line favorite for Game-2 with a 10 1/2-run total. Longhorns' backers are getting +125 odds on the BetUS money-line.Run line prices are (-1 1/2) +120 on LSU and (+1 1/2) -150 on Texas.

After LSU second baseman DJ LeMahieu erased a 6-4 deficit with a two-out RBI double in the ninth, centerfielder Mikie Mahtook laced a two-out RBI single in the 11th  to give top-ranked LSU a 7-6 victory over Texas in game 1 of the National Championship series Monday night at Rosenblatt Stadium.

Freshman right-hander Matty Ott (4-2) earned the win for LSU, throwing three shutout innings between the ninth and eleventh, allowing no hits and striking out three.
