I offered up several free Super Bowl Picks 2015 last week, taking the ‘Under’ on passing yards for both Tom Brady and Russell Wilson among other selections, but I have prepared a few more with Super Bowl XLIX just two days away. All of these props are being offered at Bovada.lv and the NFL betting odds listed are their current prices.
Patriots vs Seahawks Free Super Bowl Picks 2015: NFL Odds Provided by Bovada.lv
LeGarrette Blount Rushing Attempts –
Over 15 Attempts -120
Under 15 Attempts -110
Take ‘Under’ 15 rushing attempts at -110 NFL odds. Blount has carried the ball 15 or more times just two times all season long. One of those occurrences came in the AFC Championship Game against a Colts rush defense that has no clue how to stop the Patriots ground game. Even during Blount’s impressive 2013 campaign with New England he carried the ball over 15 times just three times all year, including the playoffs. And guess what? One of those games came against Indianapolis.
Marshawn Lynch Total Rushing Yards –
Over 92.5 Yards -135
Under 92.5 Yards +105
Take ‘Under’ 92.5 rushing yards at +105 odds. Lynch rushed for more than 92.5 yards six times this season, including the 157 rush yards he tallied in Seattle’s NFC Championship win. The last time he faced the Patriots, who ranked ninth in the NFL this season in rush yards per game allowed (104.3), he posted 41 yards on 15 carries.
Will Marshawn Lynch score a touchdown in the game?
Take ‘No’ at +160 Super Bowl odds. While ‘No’ sounds crazy considering Lynch scored a touchdown in 11 of the Seahawks 18 games, including at least one in six of the Seahawks last seven outings, he is facing a New England defense that gave up just six rushing touchdowns all season long.
Who will throw the first interception on the game?
Tom Brady -150
Russell Wilson +120
Take Brady at -150 odds. Brady has tossed at least one interception in eight of New England’s last 10 games and Wilson threw four against the Packers. That is all the information we need to side with Wilson, though. The Seahawks quarterback has not thrown an interception in back-to-back games all season.
Will Marshawn Lynch grab his crotch after scoring a touchdown in the game?
Take ‘No’ at -700 if, and only if, you have a lot of cash to blow. But I view this as sure-fire winner. First of all, I already picked Lynch not to score a touchdown, but secondly, Lynch has mentioned several times this week a desire to avoid getting fined. While it was related to the matter of media interviews, the point is the same: the man wants to hold on to his cash. And he knows for certain he will be levied a hefty fine by the league for grabbing his crotch after a Super Bowl touchdown. (Amended Pick 1/30/15: Lynch has now agreed to grab his crotch for charity. So take ‘Yes’ at +400 if it’s still available).
