Ladies and gentleman, we are officially on fire, and for all intents and purposes, this string of great fortune couldn’t come at a better time for NFL bettors, as we’ve now reached the Divisional Round of the 2016 NFL playoffs. As OSH readers saw last week, we went 3-0-1 in the Wild Card Round along with successful ATS predictions for the college football title game between Bama and Clemson.
So, how in the world can we outdo ourselves? Our plan is to keep riding this wave of momentum and continue to give OSH readers the absolute best winning possibilities in every single one of their investments. With a new National Champion having been crown, the pro football postseason moves right along, and NFL betting aficionados couldn’t be more excited for what’s in store.
This weekend’s 2016 NFL playoff (Divisional Round) offers four quality matchups to explore either against the spread or simply straight up. Without further ado, let’s get right down to business and take a look at the five W’s (Who, What, Where, When and Why) involving this weekend’s Division Round of the 2016 NFL playoffs.
Kansas City Chiefs (+6) vs New England Patriots (-6): This intriguing clash is scheduled for Saturday at 4:35 p.m. ET from Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on CBS Sports. In sports, momentum is something that you often hear people talk about, and in this instance, these teams come in on opposites sides of that spectrum. The Chiefs enter the Divisional Round having won 11 games in a row, while the Pats closed out the season dropping two straight decisions. For that reason and for many others –including KC’s defense and offensive rushing attack – taking the Chiefs with a six-point cushion is a no-brainer.
- NFL Playoff Predictions (2016 Divisional Round): Chiefs +6
Green Bay Packers (+7) vs. Arizona Cardinals (-7): This is one of those games that will make NFL bettors’ heads spin, as it features two teams capable of beating alternating wins and loses against one another if they were to play 10 games in a row. However, this game will take place at University of Phoenix Stadium, a place where the Cards are very tough to beat. For the record, opening kickoff is slated for Saturday night at 8:15 p.m. ET live on NBC. Look, let’s face it, the Cards are likely to win this game for a number of reason. Nevertheless, I would bet the farm that Aaron Rodgers & Co. are more than capable of going into the desert and covering the aforementioned pro football odds. In fact, I’m actually betting on the Packers to have a legitimate shot at pulling off the upset straight up in this one.
