NFL Playoff Predictions 2015 Championship Round: NFL Betting Odds Provided by Bovada.lv
NFC Championship Game (3:00 p.m. ET at CenturyLink Field, FOX)
Green Bay Packers +7.5 (-110), Over 47 (-110)
Seattle Seahawks -7.5 (-110), Under 47 (-110)
The Packers did not cover the seven point spread in yesterday’s meeting with the Cowboys, but they did book a rematch with the defending champion Seahawks. Green Bay defeated Dallas 26-21 at Lambeau Field after rallying from a 21-13 second half deficit.
The Packers would do themselves well to avoid digging such a hole this weekend as they would almost certainly find themselves unable to crawl out of it. Aaron Rodgers and his cohorts know first hand what it is like to get behind against the Seahawks in Seattle. Green Bay trailed 10-22 late in the third quarter of their Week 1 meeting; they eventually lost the game 36-16 after posting a total of 255 yards.
Getting by the Seahawks this time does not appear as though it will be any easier. Seattle won its seventh straight game on Saturday by knocking off the Panthers 31-17. It was also the team’s fifth consecutive double digit home win.
NFL Playoff Predictions 2015: Take the Seahawks -7.5
AFC Championship Game (6:30 p.m. ET at Gillette Stadium, CBS)
Indianapolis Colts +7 (-105), Over 54 (-110)
New England Patriots -7 (-115), Under 54 (-110)
The Colts, playing as a seven point underdog, stunned the Broncos yesterday, scoring a 24-13 win to advance to the AFC Championship Game. While Indianapolis and its fans were, no doubt, thrilled with the accomplishment, there was probably less excitement regarding next weekend’s destination.
The Colts have lost five straight to the Patriots and the last two meetings between them were not close. New England smashed Indy 43-22 in the Divisional Round of the 2013 NFL playoffs, and it demolished Andrew Luck and company again this season, producing a 42-20 win at Lucas Oil Stadium on November 16.
New England garnered its third straight AFC Championship appearance with Saturday’s come-from-behind 35-31 win over the Ravens. The victory was also New England’s 13th win its last 16 playoff games at Gillette Stadium.
NFL Playoff Predictions 2015: Take the Patriots -7
