After another wild and crazy few weeks of March Madness NCAA basketball action, we have reached the penultimate stage in the road towards issuing the 2017 National Championship in the world of collegiate hoops. As such, only four teams are still alive in the running, and according to betting lines and NCAAB picks specialists, this is still anyone’s tournament to win.
That’s because the remaining two Final Four games are expected to come down to the wire, evidenced by the fact that neither game has a point spread larger than seven points. It’s certainly worth noting that the remaining four teams are North Carolina, Gonzaga, Oregon and South Carolina. Which team is worthy of being the consensus college basketball odds favorite to win it all? Well, there’s also an answer for that.
For the record, the Final Four matchups, which will take place on Saturday, April 1 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, will consist of USC vs. Gonzaga and Oregon vs. UNC. The two victors will move on to the NCAA Tournament Championship Game on Monday, April 3 at the aforementioned Final Four venue.
South Carolina Gamecocks vs. Gonzaga Bulldogs: The first Final Four game of the 2017 NCAA men’s basketball tournament is scheduled to tipoff at 6:09 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on CBS Sports. According to 2-17 March Madness betting lines, Gonzaga is the early favorite in the point-spreads department and in the money lines. At the present time, the Bulldogs are six-and-a-half-point (-6½) favorites over a Gamecocks squad that will enjoy a cushion of almost three scores at plus-six-and-a-half (+6½). Naturally, money lines for that contest also favor Gonzaga (-270) against USC (+225) and the Over-Under is set at a combined total of 137½ points.

Oregon Ducks vs. North Carolina Tar Heels: Then it’s the game everyone is waiting for, as the consensus team to beat at the start of the tournament takes center stage when the North Carolina Tar Heels battle the Oregon Ducks in the last Final Four contest of the year. This game has an opening kickoff scheduled for 8:49 p.m. ET and it will also be broadcast live on CBS Sports following the conclusion of South Carolina-Gonzaga. In this instance, college basketball betting experts foresee this becoming an even more of a highly contested matchup. As of Friday morning, North Carolina is only considered a five-point (-5) favorite to defeat a very tricky Oregon team that’s not to be taken lightly with a cushion of that same margin (+5). The money lines for this contest have the Tar Heels valued at -200 straight-up, the Ducks at +170 and the Over-Under tallies a whopping 152.5 points. Much like in the first matchup, I like the underdogs to lose the game, but cover nonetheless what is a very tight spread all things considered.
