Four very worthy teams will be battling for a chance to play for the 2012 NCAA men’s tournament national championship on April 2nd. Who will it be? We will take a closer look at the 2012 NCAA Final Four betting odds to try and figure out which team is most likely to win it all this year!
Will it be the team ranked first all regular season long in the Kentucky Wildcats led by John Calipari? Or will the Louisville Cardinals deliver coach Rick Pitino his second NCAA tournament title in his illustrious career at the expense of his former team?
“There will be people at Kentucky that will have a nervous breakdown if they lose to us. They’ve got to put the fences up on bridges,” Pitino said. “There will be people consumed by Louisville. While I think it’s a great honor to play a great team. I think it’s a great honor. There’s no jealousy on our part if they get there.”
But perhaps this is the year of the two seeds! Can Bill Self take the Kansas Jayhawks to the Promised Land for the second time in four years? Or can Thad Matta be the man to end the Ohio State Buckeyes’ 52-year drought?
“I appreciated that everyone doubted this basketball team, said we were the underdogs, we weren’t good enough, mentally strong enough, not physically strong enough, mentally immature, we heard it all,” said OSU star, Jared Sullinger. “I want to thank y’all because through all the adversity, we constantly pushed through. We came from nothing, according to y’all, to something now.”
Whoever it is, it’s gong to be an emotional Final Four and a championship game to remember! Without further ado, let’s take a look at the most recent odds to win the 2012 NCAA men’s basketball tournament:
