With less than a month remaining on the NCAA men’s basketball regular season, picks and predictions experts are preparing for what will be a memorable championship tournament.

It is almost that time of the year again, as the craziest month in American sports will shortly take center stage. To prepare you for the “Madness” we have decided to update you on the latest money lines to win the 2014 NCAA men’s basketball championship and issue some early predictions.

Without further ado, let’s get right to it, starting with Bovada Sportsbook’s NCAA basketball odds to go all the way. Unlike other sportsbooks, BV’s oddsmakers foresee this being a three-team race to the title, as the (22-1) Arizona Wildcats, (17-5) Kansas Jayhawks and (20-2) Florida Gators have equal chances at 13/2 odds.

Interestingly enough, this is in direct conflict with the current AP and USAT/ESPN rankings. The Associated Press’ Top 25 have Arizona ranked second, Florida third, and Kansas eighth. USA Today and ESPN have the Wildcats third, the Gators fourth and the Jayhawks sitting in the ninth spot.

So, who rules both national rankings? It just so happens that (22-0) Syracuse Orange is next up on our list of odds to win 2014 NCAA men’s basketball championship, but isn’t getting as much love from predictions experts.

Instead, Jim Boeheim’s team is listed with 7/1 odds to prove they’re worthy of their No.1 ranking. Syracuse’s remaining games are against Clemson and at Pittsburgh, before closing out the calendar with home games versus NC State and Boston College.

Rounding out the top five is a program many observers had going all the way in the tourney just a few days ago. Tagged with a great 17/2 betting odds value to win the 2014 NCAA men’s basketball championship are the (20-3) Michigan State Spartans.

MSU finds itself ranked ninth in the AP and eighth in the USAT/ESPN standings after a slight hiccup. Following a disappointing loss to Georgetown, the Spartans will try and close out the regular season with wins over Wisconsin, Northwestern, Nebraska and Purdue.

If you had to make your free NCAAB predictions now, who would win the 2014 NCAA men’s basketball championship, in your estimation? For my money, I believe UF not only has all the ingredients to conquer the program’s third National Title since the turn of the millenium.
